Default 3 Game Ideas

I emailed guild wars people about these questions and they've asked me to post them on popular fan sites to see what the majority of people wanted before they would impliment these ideas, so here they are.

1. I think they should re-add Fort Koga, Droknar, D'Alessio, and The Crag battle arenas.

Why - Because not only do I want to be able to explore them to make my map more astectically pleasing, but I want to be able to play certain arena types without having to go into team or random arena. I find some arenas I am very good at and others I need practise, however I don't get to choose and when I do get to play them, I often get a common quitter, afkers, or people who also don't know how to play the arena correctly.

My Suggestion - Why not make them all available but link them to but link it to random arena after first battle? Why not make it so all the arenas are explorable at any level so people can see all the slopes and how everything works to get a feel for the arena? Or simply why not just re-open them all even if they are unpopular?


2. I think survivor title should be obtainable to the highest tier even if you die once.

Why - Because as all titles and different armours play off the fact most people like to collect things, I feel anything that you can screw up perminatly should not be implimented. Things like never being able to master a title or never being able to explore an arena (see question 1) I find is very discourging knowing that somebody else was able to.

My Suggestion - Why not make the survivor title track a set amount of experiance?(That way if people lag die or anything excuse networking problem they just have to start over again on the experiance)


3. If possible I think they should add a side quest title track.

Why - Because majority of people avoid side quests and those who do them I feel should enjoy a weird or something title or preseant :P.

My Suggestion - Simply add one lol.


Ok, well I hope you all agree with my ideas and suggestions so the guild wars people might impliment them (more so on the arenas).

Just ignore Qwert, he's been spamming the forums with his idiocy all morning. As for your suggestions,

1) technically, the arenas are in the game you can access them via random and team arenas. The reason they were taken out and made the way they are now is because people were favoring certain arenas over others because they discovered certain builds could just own a particular map. By making them random, no one build can own all the groups it comes up against, especially since you never know which map you'll be on.

2) Doubt it will happen, afterall, you've died. Granted I'm against getting the title via quick use of the exit key, but given that sometimes the power goes out, etc and I doubt ANet can tell the difference it's an evil I can live with.

3) More titles good. We did have a tread in here at one point with user ideas for titles.

1. I don't do RA or TA so I'm mostly indifferent, but I expect this is a bad idea. As the game grows there will be too few people at each individual arena, I'd think. But I suppose you can let people enter them as explorable areas if they want it filled in on their maps.

2. I don't like the survival title in the first place - it encourages people to abandon groups and do other silly things. But this idea would make it too easy to get. Just do a ton of quests and die all you want, but don't collect the reward. Then turn in all of the rewards at once and insta-title.

3. Now this idea I like and I've been wanting for a long time. I'm a shameless questing geek - my first time through the game I try to do all of them. When I'm going to Sorrow's Furnace or FoW, I'm trying to find questing groups instead of farming groups. When Anet anounced the new title system, I was sure that a couple of my characters were going to get titles right away for the quests they'd already done, and when they didn't make a title for quests I was very sad.

Agree with 2-3, not with 1 as stated above, as for qwert, the stupid sh*ts been posting garbage just bashing the game uselessly all day.

1. I have to agree with SpeedyKQ, but I think if they make them explorable areas they should include a quest (maybe a repetitive one) there so it's not just for exploration.
2. No, if you can die and still get the survivor title it should be renamed Learner or something.
3. I'm rather indifferent, but sure why not.

1.Explorable with a quest would be awesome, Maybe have the arenas in ruins because of a natural disaster or something else that explains them being moved.
2.Kinda voids the whole purpose of the title if you can die, though other people are circumventing this rule in other ways by using runners and guildies to take the brunt of any damage that might kill them.
3. I am always willing to have more quests.

What would make quests worth doing if the rewards were a perfect - crap skinned - weapon with perfect mods, customized to you of course. This would make me do certain quests.

Each class would get a different reward based on primary or secondary. Between primary and secondary profession weapon type and mods it could almost have a unique one for every quest.
